Casting
Traditionally, cast parts were deburred using conventional abrasive wheels after they had been demoulded and shot-blasted. Wear and the need to continually sharpen the tools, however, have made it necessary to seek more viable solutions, such as using diamond as a superabrasive.
Use of diamond prevents tool deformation and increases deburring speed and efficiency.
This task is performed on high-frequency manual machines or high-productivity CNC machines.
Applications for our casting tools: deburring.
